santacon 2009! i had the pleasure of running into the santacon crowd outside the post office on 34th st. today, damn right it was a miracle. the crowd was a bit rowdy, and drunk, but it was all for a good cause!

the NEW times square. i walked through times square last week for the first time since they removed vehicles from the tourist destinantion and i left with mixed feelings. i liked that there was less congestion on the sidewalks and people were able to walk freely but i thought that it was a little disgusting that the only entertainement besides people watching is the larger than life billboards and advertisements. i wonder if the cost of ad space in times square has gone up?
